In-Country Director
Sose was born and raised in Yerevan, but has familial roots in Javakh, Georgia. In Fall 2020, she joined Kooyrigs as a volunteer to assemble period kits for survivors of the Beirut Blast. Since then, she has continued to flourish. Today, she leads our on-ground team to success. Fluent in English, Armenian and Russian - Sose is a huge support in bridging language barriers to connect with beneficiaries, municipalities and international organizations.
One of Sose’s most meaningful memories with Kooyrigs was providing support during the occupation of Aghavno Village, Artsakh. Sose was on ground the week of the occupation, where she organized a community mural project that allowed residents to express their love for their homeland and leave behind a message of resilience.
