Support the Exhibition: Childhood Under Fire

Each print sale supports our kooyrigs Ani and Shushan in presenting their first joint exhibition: a visual archive honoring the lives of five children killed by Azerbaijani shelling in Artsakh.

Benefit Print I — Childhood Under Fire
$90.00

This 12×18 print supports the upcoming exhibition Childhood Under the Fire, a joint project by photographer Ani Gevorgyan and journalist Shushan Papazyan. Proceeds from this print directly support the production of the exhibition, including professional printing, installation, and public presentation of the work.

The project documents the stories of five children who lost their lives as a result of Azerbaijani shelling in Artsakh between 2016 and 2023, and the families who continue to carry their memory. Each photograph stands as testimony to interrupted childhoods, unfulfilled dreams, and the irreversible loss endured by their families. The exhibition aims to preserve these stories as a visual archive and to ensure that the human cost of war is not forgotten.

Active Project: The Renovation Initiative

Renovating housing for Armenian families impacted by war and displacement.

In 2023, more than 120,000 Armenians were forced to flee Artsakh after enduring a brutal blockade and the devastating 2020 war. We launched The Renovation Initiative to support these families.

Each renovation is collaborative and community-driven, with many of the builders themselves displaced Armenians — full-circle care, by the community, for the community. Learn more. 💛
